My Blog for the week :

When i came to know that Flipkart had raised $360mn in two phases this year, question arises in my mind that for what reasons Flipkart is raising so much money. One reason could be that, Flipkart want to prepare itself to hold its ground against Amazon. Second reason could be that, it want to change its inventory led format to market place model. One of the other reason is that, it want to expand its infrastructure in terms of  number of warehouses. Right now Flipkart is valued at over $1.5 billion, trying to make use of hundreds of millions it has raised the right way and emerge as India's Amazon.
